Small Tigers

Here you see Ocicats, Bailey and Dimitri. Ocicats aren't yet popular in Australia. Ocicat is a domestic breed created by crossing the Siamese, Abyssinian, and American Shorthair. The first Ocicat was created in 1964.

I think their coats are striking and make these cats interesting to look at. To me they are like small Tigers.

Bacchus and Jack

I have only started to get into cat photography recently. Already I have found it to be more challenging. Cats move like lighting bolt during the shoot compared to most dogs. However, I have photographed some cats that do pose better than dogs would.

Bacchus and Jack are my friend Louise's cats. They are so alike that I don't know which is which. They were a handful on the day but they have turned out to look quite lovely in the end.

Photographs of black cats are so striking and I would like to photograph Bacchus and Jack again.

Mysterious Cats

I have grown up mainly with dogs and not many cats. I have only recently grown fascinated with cats. I think they have a mysterious quality. And the black ones are quite bewitching and can spark up anyone's imagination if you see them under moon light.
